About
Cantharis Alpacas is one of the longest established alpaca farms in the lower North Island, conveniently located on the majestic Kapiti Coast, just 45 kms North of Wellington.
We breed alpacas for conformation, wool quality and character, and host the very popular guided alpaca walks over our working farm.

You will be able to lead, hand feed and, assuming they feel like it, hug them while enjoying the walk and the fantastic views over the picturesque Kapiti Coast and beyond.

Alpaca Sales
Every year we release a number of animals, either yearlings or adult alpacas, which we no longer require for our breeding program.
