Our luxury farmstay is the perfect stop if you are on your way to Taupo or to the South Island, or just need some time out on a perfect location. Wellington is just 35 minutes away via the new highway, and the nearest beach in Queen Elizabeth Park is only 5 minutes by car.

The luxurious stay provides you with a huge bathroom, a large bedroom and a combined lounge and dining area, in total approximately 50 sqm of welcoming space at the top level of our house. From here you can enjoy the views to the distant sea, to the mountains and, of course, alpacas!

The apartment includes a bedroom, bathroom, spacious wardrobe, a large living room with dining area, a kitchenette, and a balcony.

The bedroom has a queen bed with luxurious sheets and bedding. Soft pillows that will invite you to have a great sleep.

The bathroom has a spacious shower, with a Bali feel for that luxury touch. Soft large towels to indulge in after a hot shower.

The lounge area has a modern Smart TV providing access to FreeView, Netflix, Youtube and other streaming channels. Comfortable seating invites to relax. The dining area has a table with chairs. This can also be used as a working area and we provide free WIFI.

The kitchenette has a large fridge, a microwave, water kettle, and a double toaster. A plunger is available for your coffee in the morning. Coffee (real coffee), tea, milk, sugar, are provided. Home baked bread with egg, jam and butter will be provided for breakfast. Since there is no sink, we will do the dishes for you.

The balcony invites you to the outside, to enjoy that glass of wine while enjoying the views and the animals.

The Fluff

Our property has a beautiful and easily sloping walking track which leads you to a hilltop with views over the majestic Kapiti Coast, Kapiti Island and the South Island (on clear days). If you wish, you can book yourself in and join one of our very popular alpaca walks (refer to the Alpaca Walks page on this website). Should you want a close encounter with an alpaca, this is your chance!

The apartment is accessible through the front door of the house with total privacy upstairs.

Check-in is after 2:00pm on the day, check-out is before 10:00am.

About the Farm

We have been Alpaca farmers for more than 20 years and, since 2020, offer guided walking tours over the farm with Alpacas. Either you can book for these tours, or you can walk the hills and enjoy the magnificent views at the top, while being accompanied by grazing Alpacas.

Pricing and Booking

The price for the appartment, inclusive of breakfast, is $200 per night for up to 2 guests ($220 per night between 1/12/2023 and 31/01/2024).
